Jacksonville enjoys Dazzling Nights

The Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens will open its annual Dazzling Nights toward the end of November.

The gardens will have been transformed into a winter wonderland of shining forest, dazzling lights, music, sculptures, and displays.

A 30-foot tall Christmas tree will be at the entrance, making a great photo opportunity for guests. Many photos taken at opportunities such as this often go to local Stationery printers to be made into Holiday Cards.

Next, attendees will pass under flickering Moroccan lanterns. Live singers and moving lights are all part of a live show. Everyone can swish down Santa’s chimney chute in the inflatable play area, stroll through an 8,000 square foot lighted maze, and pass through a tunnel containing giant stars.

Adult admission tickets are $25, while children’s tickets (for children from ages 3 to 13) are $22. Premium tickets for individuals ($55), premium tickets for two ($100), and four packs ($200) are also available. Tickets are good for an hour and a half.

Hot chocolate, light snacks, wine, and beer will be available for sale. Guests are encouraged to bring flashlights and wear proper footwear, as the entirety of the event will be outdoors.

Dazzling Lights will open November 25 and run until January 1 at Jacksonville Arboretum and Gardens, 1445, Millcoe Road. Gates will open at 5:30 pm and the last entries will be at 9:00 pm.
