The 9th Annual Beaches Oktoberfest will be coming to Jacksonville Beach this weekend.
Craft beers, traditional German beers, and special Oktoberfest offerings will be available, and the first 5,000 guests to present their passports containing four or more Stamps will get complimentary steins featuring the event's graphic design.
Two stages will have live music, including Gym Class Heroes, The Hip Abduction, Ballyhoo, Tropidelic, and traditional polka bands. Activities will include stein holding, bratwurst eating, live art, the Bierhalle Experience, and a Kids' Zone.
More than 60 local makers and artists will be on site vending their original items, and over 20 Jacksonville food trucks will be selling fall treats.
Three types of tickets are available. The early Oktoberfest Experience single-day Friday or Saturday tickets are $19 in advance or $30 at the gate, while early tickets for both days will be $29 now or $50 at the gate. These passes will include one beer, a festival passport, and beverage wristbands.
Friday VIP passes will be $64 until event day, when they will go up to $79. These will include two free beers, access to the main stage and VIP lounge, a festival passport, and a private viewing area.
The Saturday: Bierhalle VIP Experience is $100 now and $150 at the gate, and will include one beer and all the amenities of the Friday VIP tickets. However, these tickets include a special German Bierhalle Experience from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
Beaches Oktoberfest will take place at the Seawalk Pavilion, 75 1st St. N, The Beaches, Jacksonville Beach this Friday, October 11 and Saturday, October 12. Gates open at 5:00 pm.
