Homeowner show to be held over Memorial Day weekend

Many Jacksonville home owners will be going to the Jacksonville Home and Patio Show, coming for four days at the end of May.

Over 300 booths will have home improvement ideas, expert advice, and project inspiration. Home industry professionals will be answering questions, giving informative presentations and selling their products and services. Several will have special promotions, discounts, coupons and Promotional Products to give away.

Some businesses will be solar and electrical contracting, heating and cooling, tree services, garage doors, gutters, blinds, roofing, and exterminating. Other areas will be in realty, mortgage, insurance, credit unions, communications, and pest control.

Online admission tickets for each day will be $10 and box office will charge $12. Hero Day will be on the Friday and veterans, fire, police, first responders and active military personnel can get in for free. On the Sunday, Teacher Appreciation Day will give teachers and school employees free admission.

With a donation of $25 to Habitat for Humanity, attendees will be entered in a Hawaii Build + Beach Sweepstakes offering a 10-day trip to build in Kona, Hawaii.

The show will feature a Food Truck Rally on Saturday and Sunday. Some cuisine will include Cuban, Cajun, and Italian options. Pet-A-Palooza will take place at the show on Sunday.

The Jacksonville Home and Patio Show is scheduled for May 28 through 31 at the Prime F. Osborn lll Convention Center, 1000 Water Street.
