Fans of the local baseball team Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are invited to the ball park for the Jumbo Shrimp Fall Festival.
Preregistration of $7 per person must be made by phoning the Jumbo Shrimp’s box office before event day. Entry will be limited due to current safety protocols, and attendees and employees alike will be required to wear face coverings at all times.
The four-hour event will be for the whole family, and Halloween-themed tables will be set with treats. Everyone is encouraged to turn up dressed in Halloween gear so they can enter the Costume Contest. Winners will be posted on the JaxShrimp social media platforms.
A Mummy Wrap contest will have contestants wrapping themselves with rolls of toilet paper. Pumpkin Mini Golf will be an opportunity for contestants to win Jumbo Shrimp hats sporting the team’s Logo Design. To get the hats, they must sink a putt through a hole cut into a pumpkin. Anyone that can twirl a neck pillow around a bat can keep the Jumbo Neck Pillow.
Concessions will be available for purchase, but concession stands will only accept credit cards.
The Jumbo Shrimp Souvenir Store will be open for fans to purchase team Promotional Products. These too may only be purchased with cards.
Jumbo Shrimp Fall Festival will be October 31 from noon until 4:00 pm at 121 Financial Ballpark, 301 A Philip Randolph Blvd.
