Jax Summer Fest 2021 will take place in late July, bringing four days of seasonal fun to Jacksonville.
Activities for the opening Thursday will begin at 4:30 pm with the inaugural GRILLYMPICS competition seeing food trucks go head to head. Along with the title of Jax’s Best Taste, there will be cash awards for the first and second place winners. Urban Entertainment TV and New Jax City Uncut will have live tapings.
On the Friday, a one-hour Preshow of Annual Summer Fashion Show and Decade Party will begin at 7:00 pm. Tunes will be from the ‘00s and will include top 40 hits in genres like R&B, Caribbean, rap, and hip-hop.
From 8:00 pm until 1:00 am, the party will get into full swing with music and fashions from the early 2000s. The fashion show will display local models and designers, and local artists will perform live. Fans of these artists often check their websites for Promotional Products. This activity will be at the Justice Pub, 315 East Bay Street.
The Saturday will see DRIP Fest take place from noon until 5:00 pm, will a prize giveaway, game day, and beach party in Huguenot Park, 10980 Hecksher Drive.
Finally, Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm will be time for the 8th Annual Feed and Clothe Those in Need drive. Also, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and there will be food, music and fun in Lonnie Miller Park, 7689 Price Lane.
JAX Fest will be July 22 through 25.
