A race is now on the schedule that should prove an interesting challenge for participants.
Cool Events, LLC, is the organizer of the upcoming event, which is a Terrain Race that also includes more than 20 obstacles, which are a feature of a contest of this type. The obstacles may include mud tubes, tricky terrain, a Tarzan swing, slippery slides, a net climb, mud crawls, monkey bars, cargo nets, and a wet start.
Obstacles have been designed so that runners can get over or through them on their own, but they are likely to be more fun if people run with friends or family members, and help one another finish the course. There are two courses available, a 5K Adventure Run with Obstacles, and a 0.5 Mile Adventure Run with Obstacles.
Participants may choose their own start times, as the runners will be setting off in waves starting every 15 minutes, beginning with the first wave at 8:00 am and the final wave at 12:00 pm. There are also two Terrain Races for Kids, with one wave setting off at 10:05 am, and the second at 11:05 am. Organizers of events like this can use banner printing to create markers that indicate the course layout.
The race is scheduled to take place March 12 at Amelia Earhart Park in Hialeah, which may prove to be less strenuous than some other terrain. Goodies include a Monkey Medal for all finishers.
