Local artist to teach watercolor class in Hialeah

Alejandro Piñeiro Bello will hold an art lesson in November at a venue in Hialeah.

Learning Watercolors with Alejandro Piñeiro Bello is an art lesson for families that will teach attendees how to create their own watercolor pieces on paper. The program will start with a meet-and-greet with Bello and conclude with a group lunch at the ICA Miami Sculpture Garden. The event is part of the ICA’s I Create Art workshop series, which is a program that helps families experience contemporary art. Guests will be able to bring home their original works after the program is finished.

Alejandro Piñeiro Bello is an experienced artist from Cuba whose work has been featured in many notable museums, including the Museum of Latin American Art, the Rubell Museum, and the NSU Art Museum. He went to school at the National Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro and has been an artist in residence at the Neuendorf House and The Pocantico Center. Bello has also taught as a creative painting professor.

The watercolor lesson will be held on Sunday, November 8 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tickets to the art workshop are $50 per person. All children at the event must be at least 6 years old. The cost of lunch is included in the registration price. Art centers that organize family learning experiences like this can use poster printing services to promote their workshops.
