Rick Garofolo will conduct his master class on how using proper billing techniques can help dentists increase their productivity as well as their profits. The course is suitable for everyone in the dental profession, whether they are well-established practitioners or just beginning their career.
Garofolo will begin the first day’s presentations with the course that has proven to be his most popular, “Increased Profits Through Proper Billing and Coding.” Garofolo has updated the course to include new rules, new codes, and new ways for dentists to ensure they are paid what they are owed.
Along with billing issues, Garofolo will also discuss periodontal processing and requirements of insurance, dealing with secondaries, and ten codes that are not being used, but will help maximize reimbursement from insurers and ensure a good patient experience.
The second day, Garofolo will discuss “Fifty Things You Don’t Know,” which fits with his mantra that when it comes to HIPAA, OSHA, coding, and billing, compliance is vital. In his words:
“It’s impossible to follow the rules when you don’t know what they are.”
Other topics to be discussed include leadership and compliance, HR, accounting, and business management. When events like this are planned, organizers can use brochure printing to create course materials.
The seminar is set for January 19 and 20 at Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami-Airport/Blue Lagoon, a short distance from Hialeah, is in-person only, and is limited to 60 attendees.
