Endurance race next month in Hialeah

A mountain biking race is coming up in Hialeah.

Amelia Earhart Park will be the site of the La Rooottaaa Xc Mtb #3 Race, a contest organized by down2earth endurance race. There are several classes of race available to participants, depending on their experience and skill level.

The novice mountain biking category is three laps of 3-4 miles. Sport mountain bikers will ride four laps of the same distance. The final category is for experts, who will ride five laps of the same distance. Regardless of category, registrations is currently $35, although this will go up to $40 in a couple of weeks.

The organizer, down2earth endurance race, sets up races of various kinds, including foot races as well as mountain biking races, throughout the country. The company seeks to promote a positive attitude, while participants enjoy adventure and fun. The races are suitable for both experienced athletes and ordinary people. Down2earth endurance races offers competitive contests for adults who like put themselves to a test.

The race is June 18, and the park is on East 65 Street in Hialeah. The park will open at 6:00 am, with packet pickup and registration from 6:00 am until 7:30 am. Officials will hold a race briefing at 8:00 am, and the race itself gets started at 8:30 am. Officials can use banner printing to create markers for the start and finish lines.
