Simon Green, who goes by the stage name Bonobo, is on his Fragments Live Tour. He started his career working with hip-hop, but then began experimenting with world music and jazz. His electronic music offers a soothing approach that often incorporates organic instruments, and he has begun appearing at live events with a full band.
Bonobo began his career in 1999, but had only moderate success until about 2005, when he released the DJ mix album “It Came from the Sea.” The album included some exclusive tracks and began to bring attention to the artist. He released “Days to Come,” his third album, in 2006, and had the satisfaction of seeing Gilles Peterson’s listeners vote it “Best Album of 2006.” He dropped his latest album, “Fragments,” in 2022. A review says:
“Simon Green is a musical genius, and despite the difference of shows between his DJ set and his full band, all his performances are amazing.”
Bonobo will be at Space Park on October 1 at 5.00 pm. The show is so popular there is a limit of two tickets per performance, and orders exceeding the limit may be canceled. In addition, the show is limited to those 21 years of age and over. Events like these can be publicized effectively when organizers use poster printing to create advertising.
