The melting pot of the Miami region will come together at the Carnaval on the Mile next month.
Over 150,000 visitors from neighboring communities, including Hialeah, have attended in past years. The citywide event is a celebration taking place in Miracle Mile, in the center of Coral Gables. The family-friendly festival brings live music, food temptations, and a variety of crafts to the area.
Blending the Caribbean and Latin cultures enjoyed throughout this area, a variety of food vendors will serve authentic cuisine throughout the weekend. The festival also includes over 200 vendors selling arts, jewelry, paintings, crafts, sculptures, and other creative items in the Artist Village.
Local Print shops often help vendors to prepare for large public events of this type. Banner printing creates promotional signage for display in booths or vendor areas.
Two large stages are typically set up in the street for live performances, including rock, funk, and jazz. Shows for children will also be provided. Entertainment announcements are forthcoming. Chris Cab, Locos Por Juana, and Palo! Have performed at the festival in previous years.
The 2021 Carnaval on the Mile is scheduled for March 6 and 7 in the Miracle Mile Coral Gables Shopping District in the downtown area. Admission is free. Contact the event organizers to apply for a vendor booth or call (305) 644-8888 for more information.
