Unique parade for Independence Day celebrations in Dunedin

Hometown USA, the Dunedin Fourth of July celebrations will start with Dunedin Goes Carting, a patriotic golf cart parade that will wind through the city a day ahead of Independence Day.

Dunedin Goes Carting is a community social and advocacy organization that started 15 years ago to promote safe street use of golf carts through annual special events.

Groups that sponsor special events such as this often seek out Logo Design services for use on their printed promotional materials.

The parade will start near the hospital at North Orange Avenue and finish at the TD Ballpark, where participants and spectators can enjoy Hometown USA festivities presented by the Dunedin City Parks and Recreation Department.

There will be an outdoor presentation of the movie Miracle, live music, games and face painting, followed by a large fireworks display. Grandstand seating at the park will be open for guests to listen to music and watch the feature film. Fireworks are planned for 9:30 pm as long as the weather cooperates.

The park concessions will be open for refreshments and stadium rules have been relaxed for this event to allow entry with non-glass outside food and beverages in small soft coolers.

Hometown USA is a free event to be held on July 3, 2026, beginning at 6 pm with the golf cart parade. The stadium gates will open at 6:15 pm.
