Next month marks the return of the American League Champion Toronto Blue Jays to spring training in Dunedin.
TD Ballpark will kick off the season with an open house. To start the festivities, a midday golf cart parade, presented by Dunedin Goes Carting, will wind through the city and finish at the ballpark.
Participants are encouraged to highlight their carts with Blue Jays decorations for a change to win prizes. The top three carts will be rewarded and will take a winner's lap around the stadium.
The celebration continues in the ballpark with games, live music, free hot dogs, photo opportunities, and prizes.
Fans will also find special Blue Jays collectibles at the ballpark garage sale, held in support of the team’s charity organization. The Jays Care Foundation Florida supports local initiatives and charities such as the Greater Dunedin Little League, Dunedin Cares Food Pantry, and BayCare’s St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital Foundation – three groups that recently shared almost $13,000 from the foundation.
The stadium open house will be free to attend and open to all ages. Professional sports teams and their sponsors that present events such as this often use Promotional Products as giveaways for their fans.
Dunedin will welcome back the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday, February 14 from noon to 3:00 pm. The parade will begin at 12:30 pm.
