Meeting to give residents a snapshot of Dunedin

Officials with the City of Dunedin will share its accomplishments, challenges, and views for the future at an upcoming 2026 State of the City “A Connected Community” event.

The annual public meeting will provide the chance for residents to celebrate their city, look back on the past year, and hear priorities for the coming months.

The discussion will include the financial health of the city, development projects, initiatives in parks and recreation and sustainability, and improvements in local infrastructure.

State of city addresses are presented annually in many communities across the US and Canada, as well as at higher levels of government. They provide elected officials and managers with the chance to display transparency and accountability with their constituents.

The event will include time for residents, business leaders, and government officials to gather for an hour of networking. Events such as this often provide community members and stakeholders with the opportunity to share their Business Cards.

Dunedin’s 2026 State of the City public meeting will be held Thursday, March 12 at City Hall, 737 Louden Avenue. The networking session will take place from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, during which light refreshments will be available. The civic presentation will start at 8:00 pm. For those unable to attend in person, the meeting will also be livestreamed on Facebook, YouTube, and local cable television.
