Dunedin to welcome talented crafters
Some of the best crafters in the country will be in attendance for the 32nd annual Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival next month.
The outdoor festival is presented by Howard Alan Events and American Craft Endeavors, an organization that sees as many as two million visitors to its events across the country each year.
The two-day weekend event will bring together crafters and artists with their handmade ceramics, jewelry, hair accessories, pottery, and more. Each participating crafter is chosen through a formal juried process, ensuring a standard for the displays and exhibits.
Situated along the waterfront, downtown Dunedin offers a picturesque background for visitors to stroll through the craft festival. In addition to the crafts, Main Street downtown will be the venue for a large green market featuring hand-made food products and a broad selection of locally grown produce. Specialty items will include dips, sauces and spices, and hand-crafted soap products. Shoppers can enjoy snacks and beverages while they browse the numerous vendor booths and tables.
Entrepreneurs who create and sell artisanal products at festivals frequently turn to local print shops for their promotional materials.
The Downtown Dunedin Craft Show will be held on October 11 and 12 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at 271 Main Street. The event is free to attend, and further information is available online.
