Runners are preparing for the Virtual Soldier Rush 2020 in November, and the in-person Coral Springs Holiday Mile coming in early December.
The Soldier Rust Virtual Race on November 7 will cost $29, and obstacle exercises will be announced a couple of weeks before the race. The race will be live streamed from around the world starting at 8:00 am EST.
Registration for the Coral Springs Holiday Mile will be $15 and those that preregister will be guaranteed T-Shirts sporting the event’s graphic design. Racers are also invited to wear their holiday attire.
Race packets may be picked up at Runners Depot Coral Springs at 5679 Coral Ridge Drive, or from 5:00 am until 6:00 am at the starting line.
This will be an evening run starting in front of the Coral Springs Diner at the corner of Sample Road and Coral Springs Drive. From the pink Tape, runners will race an out-and-back-course by heading east for half a mile, turning around and head back on Sample Road to the start line.
Awards go to the top three finishers in each of the 20 age categories, and to the top female/male overall finishers. Awards will also be given to the team that has the most participants, best team finish, and to the school team that registers the most members.
The Coral Springs Holiday Mile will begin at 6:15 pm on Wednesday, December 9.
