Mayor honored with golf tournament

Mayor Skip Campbell will be honored at the Coral Springs Golf Classic coming toward the end of April.

Registration will be $150 for individual players and $1,000 for corporate foursomes. Swag will include signature gift packs. Proceeds will go to the MLK Scholarship Fund.

Golfers can enjoy a continental breakfast before they head out to the driving range for a little practice before the shotgun start. Throughout play there will be challenges and contests, and beverages will be served. A buffet lunch will be served afterwards, and the tournament awards ceremony will follow. Raffle tickets will be available during the luncheon.

Nine sponsor levels are available. For $200, the Hole Sponsor will get advertised on a hole sign. The $500 level will add one golf entry and Driving Range Sponsor recognition. Lunch sponsors at the $3,000 level will need to get their banner printing done as soon as possible to ensure that their displays are ready at the luncheon.

Other sponsor levels are Par Sponsor for $1,500, Birdie and Lunch sponsors at the $3,000 level, and the Breakfast and Signature Gift levels at $1,500. The Eagle Sponsor at the $5,000 level will receive two golf foursomes, their name and location on a special hole sign, and their name on the event’s Facebook page and website.

The Coral Springs Golf Classic will take place Friday, April 22 starting at 7:00 am at the Country Club of Coral Springs, 10800 West Sample Road.
