Local charity holds golf fundraiser

Healing Arts Institute of South Florida will be holding its Second Annual Children’s Mental Health Awareness Charity Golf Tournament in mid-February.

The event will feature 18 holes of golf, drinks, and admission to the post tournament awards banquet. Adult single player tickets are $200, junior golfer single player tickets are $100, adult foursomes are $600, and junior foursomes are $300. Attendance to the awards banquet for non-players is $85.

The schedule for the day will be registration at noon with the shotgun tee-off at 1:00 pm. Dinner and awards will begin at 5:00 pm.

One Coral Springs player chosen by drawing will get a chance to win $5,000 in the putting green contest. Prizes will be awarded to top scores in five holes. The winner for hole two will a receive four-person vacation to Lajitas Golf Resort & Spa. Hole six and sixteen winners will get to choose from a L4 Laser Rangefinder with Slope or a Swing Caddie SC200 Portable launch Monitor, while the winner of hole eleven will receive a $500 Nike golf shopping spree.

Anyone getting a hole-in-one on the final hole will win an almost new Mercedes-Benz GLA250 worth $45,000. One golfer chosen by drawing will get the chance to win $1m by trying to get a hole-in one on hole eighteen.
