The ‘Masterpiece Event: Blame it on Rio’ is taking place this August, raising funds for the Coral Springs Museum of Art.
The theme of this year's event is a Brazilian carnival, and it will feature entertainment and special guest star in the form of pop artist Romero Britto. Britto is currently the subject of an exhibition that will be showing at the museum until the end of next month.
There are two levels of tickets that can be purchased. VIP guests will be treated to a special cocktail reception at which they will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, receive a special favor, and have the chance to pose for a picture with Britto. There will also be the unveiling of a special work of art. General admission guests are admitted an hour later and will enjoy a cash bar, appetizers, and specialty cocktails. All guests will be treated to musical entertainment, ‘pop art’ balloons, and raffles.
This is the main fundraiser for the Coral Springs museum, and local Print companies may be asked to provide Invitations and other marketing materials.
Blame it on Rio is being held at the Coral Springs Museum of Art on August 20 beginning at 7:00 pm. General admission tickets cost $75 and VIP tickets are $150, with only 100 available.
