Broward County will be going online for August.
On Tuesday, August 11, starting at 2:00 pm, Caroline Crane from Broward County Humane Society will give a one-hour talk on Dog Care 101. She will be discussing basic care and strengthening bonding.
Three events will be business oriented. The one on Thursday, August 13, titled Transition Your Business into Digital, will begin at 1:00 pm. Rajeeyah Madinah will be covering tools and resources available for product or service-oriented businesses to get their businesses online.
On August 19 at 1:00 pm, LABB will present Build Your Brand, a one hour presentation on how to use Social Media effectively. Patricia Monica Ojeda will give a presentation on Social Networking, Social Selling with PMO Business. She will begin her talk Wednesday, August 19 at 2:00 pm. All of these three events require registration.
Bibliophiles can enjoy two events during August. On Wednesday, August 19 beginning at 4:00 pm Librarians Connie Standish and Lupita Garza-Grande will be leading a discussion on Casey McQuiston’s Red, White & Royal Blue. On August 28 at 2:00 pm, Ray Bradbury fans can feast on a one-hour panel discussion contrasting and comparing the book of Fahrenheit 451 to the movie based on it. Registration is required.
Coral Springs cat lovers will want to view the Humane Society’s Cat Care 101 on Tuesday, August 25 at 2:00 pm.
