Coral Springs to celebrate 4th July in traditional holiday style

The City of Coral Springs is again presenting its annual 4th July celebration. The Coral Springs Police Department is recommending that families come out and celebrate

the holiday safely by watching the grand fireworks display instead of setting off fireworks in their own neighborhoods.

Along with the fireworks display there will be live music, games and bounce houses for the kids. Kid’s craft activities will require small fees for materials. Attendees will also want to remember to bring their wallets for refreshments and food. Local businesses may want to have their logos printed on promotional Drinkware that the venders will use for this event.

A $3 parking fee will be required to use the parking facilities at the Center for the Arts, Coral Springs Gymnasium and Mullins Park. If this year is anything like last year, these parking areas fill up fast so event organizers are suggesting that attendees may want to consider coming early.

Of course everyone will want to celebrate Monday, July 4th. The event is scheduled to take place at Mullins Park located at 10150 Ben Geiger Drive (at N.W. 29th Street) here in Coral Springs. Gates will open at 6 pm. Fireworks will start at 9 pm. If anyone is concerned about the weather, they can check with the City’s Facebook page or its Twitter account.
