On Saturday, March 14, Coral Springs residents will have several ways to entertain themselves.
The two-day family-friendly Our Town America Festival will feature amusement rides, a talent show, merchant booths, a classic car show, and live entertainment. There will also be games, arts and crafts, and a food court. The festivities will begin Friday, March 13 at 5:00 pm at the venue’s main stage with a performance by the Classic Rock Front Street Band.
The 2020 Our Town America Festival Coral Springs will take place at Sportsplex at Coral Springs, 2575 Sportsplex Drive on Friday, March 13 from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm; Saturday, March 14 from 9:00 am until 11:00 pm; and Sunday, March 15 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm.
Also on the 14th, Cypress Park, 11301 Coral Springs Drive, will give kids and families the opportunity to get outdoors and enjoy free activities such as water balloons, tag, an obstacle course, tug of war, and hula hoop competition. This event will run from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Finally, Tennis Center of Coral Springs, 2575 Sportplex Drive, will hold Broward Junior Championships beginning on March 14 and ending two days later. This will be USTA for boys’ and girls’ 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 singles. Winners of competitions such as this often have pictures taken that go to local Print shops for duplicates to send to relatives and friends.
