Coral Springs Holiday parade celebrates the season

Coral Springs 2022 Holiday Parade has been scheduled for mid-December. This year, the theme will be “March of the Toys.”

Highly decorated and brightly lit floats, cars, live animals, trucks, and bands are expected to participate. Adults and children in walking units called human floats will be decorated as well to adhere to this year’s theme. Santa will be arriving at the close of the parade.

Floats will be entered in an award competition. First place will receive the Mayor’s Cup; second place will receive the Vice Mayor’s Cup, and third place will be awarded the Commissioner’s Cup.

Organizations that participate in parades like this often get brochure printing done beforehand so they can pass out something to the crowds.

The parade will step off at Coral Springs Drive, continue along Sample Road, and end at City Hall.
Spectators are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs and find spots along Sample Road to get good viewing areas. Local shops and restaurants will also have good seating. Those that need handicap seating can use the seating at City Hall, and at the intersection of Coral Hills Drive and Sample Road.

For those either out of town or unable to attend the parade in person, the parade will be telecast live on the Coral Springs Face Book Page, City TV, and on TV Bluestream Ch. 25 and 99.

Coral Springs Holiday Parade will be Wednesday, December 14 beginning at 7:00 pm.
