Coral Springs golfs for charity

Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber will be holding its Fourth Annual Chamber Classic Golf Tournament in early May.

Individual registration will be $225, and foursomes will be $800. Registration will include tournament play and participation in the Hole-in-One competition and the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests.

Presented by Fiserv! the event will donate some of the proceeds to the CSCCR Chamber Education Foundation. The Foundation raises funds for seven local high schools and strives to donate at least $5000 each year.

For non-members, Tee sponsorships are $300 while a Driving Range Sponsorship will be $400 and Putting Green Sponsorship will run $550. More expensive ones will include Closest to the Pin $1250, and the Fairway and Hole-in-One sponsors which are $2500 each.

The Driving Range and Putting Green will be open before registration which will begin at 8:00 am. The shotgun start will begin at 8:30 am and the Awards/lunch Reception will start at 1:30 pm. A silent auction will be taking place during the tournament.

Businesses that donate to charity auctions such as this often include Flyers or Business Cards with their donated items, and those who attend the event bring some cards with them as golf and auctions can be invaluable for a little networking.

The Fourth Annual Chamber Classic Golf Tournament will take place from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm Friday, May 2nd at The Country Club of Coral Springs, 10800 West Sample Road.
