Coral Springs community enjoys thrills, chills, and Grinch

Coral Springs Parks and Recreation will be presenting two holiday-themed events – one in October and the other in November.

Thrills and Chills will be the Halloween theme at the Coral Springs Gymnasium. The gym will have a carnival atmosphere with carnival games, themed spaces, Spooky Haunted Walk-through, DJ music, crafts, maze, and bounce houses. Little ones will get their own Toddler Room. Food and drinks may be purchased, and candy will be given out at the exit. Guests are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes.

Towns that support Halloween events like this often have pictures of guests taken at the festivities. These photos are often taken to local Print shops to be added to future visitor guides.

Tickets are available for $5 per guest over 2 years old and must be purchased before event day for session #1, which runs from 1:00 – 4:00 pm, or for Session #2 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Thrills and Chills will take place Saturday, October 21st at the Coral Springs Gymnasium, 2501 Coral Springs Drive.

Parks and Recreation will also be hosting the next Family Fun Night. Everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets and help the community kick-off the end-of-the-year holidays with popcorn and the movie Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch.

The free Family Fun Night will be held Wednesday, November 8th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Coral Springs Gymnasium.
