The City of Coral Springs will be combining its Arbor Day and Earth Day celebrations into one three-hour event called EarthFest 2024, coming toward the end of April.
The event will highlight the importance of trees and environmental conservation. Activities will include nature exhibits, raffles, and information about the local community garden. Area businesses and agencies associated with trees, plants, and the environment, such as plant nurseries, landscapers, water conservation agencies, and land management, will be passing out information and vending goods and services.
Many agencies and businesses that participate in events like these can bring Business Cards to have on hand for anyone wishing to contact them at a later date.
Coral Spring residents with ID can receive free native plants that can preserve water to help support the city’s diverse natural ecosystems. The giveaway will be limited to one plant for each family, and it will be a first-come, first served as long as the limited supply lasts.
Guests may also enjoy roaming around the nature center grounds finding out about birds, reptiles, and mammals indigenous to South Florida and learning more about its Wildlife Hospital. The Center also has a nature gift boutique if anyone wishes to support the center and its programs.
EarthFest 2024 will be free to attend and will take place from 9:00 am to noon Saturday, April 27th at Sawgrass Nature Center, 3000 Sportsplex Drive in Coral Springs.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
