Next month’s Cape Coral Charity Car Show will mark the tenth year for the popular event.
Thousands of people have attended in past years to view as many as 500 cars and trucks. It is an open show allowing for participants to register any and all types of vehicles. The show attracts members of car clubs who can attend as a group and have their vehicles together in a specific area.
In addition to viewing the trucks and cars, the event offers a full day of family entertainment. There will be food and refreshments, 50s and 60s music, vendors, raffles and door prizes.
Participants pay $20 to enter their vehicle and spectators are asked to contribute $5 for parking with all proceeds to the Cape Coral Caring Center. Last year’s show raised over $110,000 for the center, which offers a food bank and other assistance for those in need. More than 70,000 community members have received assistance since its inception in 1990.
All entrants have a chance at prizes and the first 300 car owners receive dash plaques and goody Bags. Businesses who support charities often contribute Promotional Products for give-away Bags at events such as this.
The Cape Coral Charity Car Show will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 9 am to 3 pm at Mariner High School.
