Big small-town celebration in Cape Coral
Families and businesses will join together early next month to officially welcome the holiday season in Cape Coral.
The Holiday Festival of Lights is one of southwest Florida’s biggest celebrations and has been held on the first Saturday in December for more than 40 years. Presented by the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, the event has been known to attract as many as 20,000 people. The highlights of the evening are the lighting of the city’s Christmas tree and the arrival of Santa Claus. The light-up ceremony will be led by local dignitaries and event sponsors. Businesses who add their brand to community events such as this frequently use print shops for their graphic design needs.
The holiday celebration will stretch three-quarters of a mile along the Cape Coral Parkway and will feature festive attractions, entertainment, vendors, food and beverages. A number of businesses will offer giveaways and the opportunity to enter prize draws. In addition to photos with Santa, children’s activities will also include a snow drift slide and a tiny tots train ride. The venue will include three stages for festive performances by area dance troupes, choirs and school groups.
The Holiday Festival of Lights will be held on December 6, 2025 from 4 pm to 10 pm along the Cape Coral Parkway from Del Prato Boulevard to Candia Street.
