Cape Coral Garden Club plants seeds of knowledge

Over 1000 plants will be available at an upcoming garden club event in Cape Coral.

March in the Park is the Cape Coral Garden Club’s annual plant sale. The club was founded in 1960 as one of the earliest community groups in the area. That spring, a talk on gardening presented to a group of local residents was the impetus for the formation of the organization.

The group pledged to conserve and improve the beauty of the city and to encourage a better understanding of gardening through education, a mission its members continue today.

Expert gardeners from the club will be in attendance at the plant sale to offer input on the ideal plants to choose for particular landscapes and tips on how to nurture them. There will be native plants, succulents, flowers, herbs and many more.

As many as 50 vendor booths will be on site featuring other horticultural items such as creative garden art, yard tools and accessories. Gardening enthusiasts will also have a chance to win prizes including a hand-painted rain barrel, a garden cart and other supplies.

Non-profit groups that organize special sales such as this often use flyer printing to advertise their events.

The March in the Park Plant Sale will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 9 am to 3 pm at Rotary Park in Cape Coral.
