Run to celebrate Cinco de Mayo near Cape Coral

The third annual Cantina CincoRita Run will be held next month to mark Cinco de Mayo celebrations in Fort Myers near Cape Coral.

Organizers of running events such as this often use printing services to create materials for their race participants.

Three races will be included in the running event, a 5K, a one-mile and the Margarita mile, a fan favorite. Awards will be presented in the 5K and one-mile timed races for first, second and third place male and female overall finishers, plus there will be age group awards. All finishers will receive a medal and beach towel.

Get Ready to Fiesta is the theme of the event to be held near Cantina Laredo where post-race activities will take place.

After runners cross the finish line, they can enjoy food, refreshments and family activities. There will be Cornhole, a kid's bounce house, as well as treats such as cotton candy, piñatas and snow cones.

A buffet breakfast will be available for both runners and spectators, with funds raised going toward Valerie’s House, which assists children and families who are grieving the loss of a loved one. Valerie’s House has several locations throughout the state.

The Cantina CincoRita will be held May 2, 2026, beginning at 8 am at Cantina Loredo on Big Pine Way in Fort Myers near Cape Coral.
