A veteran’s day parade will be held in Cape Coral this November.
The event is a community affair, and all residents are invited to celebrate those who have served or are actively in service. The procession will feature bands, dancers, marching flagmen, and veterans. There will also be appearances from local businesses and organizations in support of the initiative.
Patrons can look forward to a citywide event as the groups move from Cape Coral Street to Chester Street. Attendees should note that there should be no throwing of items onto the parade route.
Applications are open for those who wish to be a part of the event. Participants may fill out the entry form, and mail it to the Special Events Division of the Cape Coral City. The rules for participating in the parade will include no refueling during the procession, no alcoholic beverages, and all vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver. A full list of regulations is also available on the City’s website.
Graphic design can offer unique ways to decorate floats and rides at events such as this one.
The event is free to attend and takes place on November 11. The Cape Coral Parkway route begins at Cape Coral Street, Cape Coral, Florida, 33904. There will be a parade staging beginning at 9:00 am, while the parade itself begins at 11:00 am.
