Hispanic culture highlighted in Cape Coral event

The inaugural Cape Coral Heritage 5K will be held next month, highlighting Hispanic culture, history and community.

Participants of all ages and abilities can run, walk or dance their way to the finish line in the race that celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month. It is recognized each year across the United States from mid-September to mid-October to commemorate Hispanic contributions to the country's culture and history.

Presented by Esthetics Wellness International and the Cape Coral Running Group, the event will not only include the morning run but also a day of music, dancing, food and refreshments.

The race route will be colorfully decorated and participants can enjoy the uplifting beat of Latino music along the way. DJ Ryan Love will play the rhythms of salsa, meringue, reggaeto, bachata, and more.

The after party will feature a fiesta of gastronomic delights. Attendees can enjoy a Dominican Chimi - a special burger bursting with flavor, or a breakfast-type dish of mashed plantains with eggs, salami and cheese. Authentic Mexican dishes will include burritos, tacos and quesadillas.

Vendors who sell food at events such as this frequently use printing services to provide their Menus, Posters and other advertising materials.

The first Cape Coral Heritage 5K will be held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 8 am at Rotary Park, 5505 Rose Garden Road in Cape Coral. Registration is open online on the run sign-up platform.
