Cape Coral to offer informational kayak tour

The company GAEA Guides will be holding a kayaking tour this August at Sirenia Vista in Cape Coral.

The Matlacha Pass Backwaters Kayak Tour is an experience where people can explore mangrove creeks while learning about the wildlife that inhabits the area. A Certified Florida Master Naturalist will lead the group. Attendees will have a chance to see different animals like birds, dolphins, and manatees on the tour. During the trip, guests will be educated on the ecology of the estuary. The group will also stop for lunch while on the adventure.

GAEA Guides is a company in Southwest Florida that offers a variety of kayaking tours for those interested in aquatic ecosystems, including sunset, estuary, and mangrove tours. The business also has a seasonal manatee tour where attendees can learn more about the animal’s history and habits. The company has been certified by the Florida Society for Ethical Ecotourism and uses tandem kayaks during tours. Organizations that offer trips can use poster printing for advertising future expeditions to potential clients.

The kayaking trip will take place on Friday, August 21 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The price to join the tour will be $60 per person. The cost of the trip will include all the necessary equipment. The group will have a maximum of 10 people and will only have six kayaks on the water at a time.
