Cape Coral will be hosting a family-friendly athletic activity this January known as the Tour de Cape.
This is a multi-day festival where people are invited to participate in a biking course and a 5K run/walk. While riders can have their bikes chipped to know their completion time, the event is not competitive. This year, there will be a new Speed Zone challenge that will reward participants with a Trek gift card for completing the final quarter mile in under one minute. Those who conquer the challenge will be notified by the end of January.
There will be a kick-off celebration for the festival where bikers and runners can pick up their T-Shirts, course maps, and informational packets. Fathoms Restaurant & Bar and The French Press will be offering exclusive deals for those who will be participating in the event. On the day of the group biking session, Rum Runners will provide a limited menu for riders. Businesses that partake in athletic activities like this can give away Promotional Products to visiting event attendees.
The Tour de Cape will start on January 22 and will continue until January 24, 2021. Those who register by November 14 can pay $20 to join the 5K and $40 to participate in the biking tour. A combination of the two events will be available for $50 for those who wish to take part in each activity. Prices will increase the closer the date gets to the festival.
