Cape Coral will be hosting the first-ever Brews on the River event this April at Tarpon Point Marina.
Brews on the River is a festival where guests can try out over 40 craft beers created by professional breweries. There will be several businesses attending the event, including Ace Premium Craft Cider, Big Top Brewing Company, and Brew Bus Brewing.
People can also purchase food from on-site vendors, such as Wild About Popcorn and The Nutty Bavarian. Live entertainment for the festival will be provided by the Honey Hounds Band and DJ Mattydubz Productions.
The Brews on the River event will also be raising funds to support local charities. Participating organizations include the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, Boxer Rescue Angels of Florida, and Guardian Angels for Special Populations.
Anybody who is interested in assisting with the festival can volunteer to help sell merchandise, scan tickets, and work as parking attendants. Events of this nature sometimes use Print shops to make ads that will get locals interested in attending.
Brews on the River will be held on Saturday, April 18 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Tickets for the beer tasting festival can be bought for $30, which will include a commemorative drinking glass and unlimited samples. Designated drivers can enter the event for $15 instead, and dogs may be brought to the festival.
