Cape Coral resort to hold FSEA convention

The Florida Society of Enrolled Agents (FSEA) will be holding a convention in June at the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village.

The FSEA Homecoming Convention is an event where Floridian members of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA) can network with fellow tax professionals and hear from notable speakers. This year, the conference will feature experts such as Ben Tallman, Mary Mellem, and Dan Henn. The event will also organize several social activities to ensure attendees get to meet new contacts. Those who attend social functions like this can bring Business Cards to swap with other guests.

The NAEA was originally founded in California in 1972 to provide a community for people working in tax-related careers. The organization moved its headquarters to Washington, D.C. in 1981 and currently has more than 10,000 members in over 30 states. Enrolled agents must have at least five years of IRS experience or pass a three-part enrollment exam. The group offers both live and virtual events for its members.

The convention will be held from June 10 to June 12, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Registration for members of the FSEA will cost $475. Non-members of the organization may also attend the event, though they will pay $525 instead. Those who attend the conference can earn up to 18 CE credits.
