Cape Coral ready for picnic

A family picnic event will be held in Cape Coral this July.

The name of the event is the Beach Blanket and Picnic Bingo. It celebrates the nationally recognized Parks and Recreation Month. Patrons may join the celebration with an evening of fun, games, and activities. These will include bingo, children’s games, prizes, and crafts.

Families can bring their own blanket, and all other amenities are available at the venue. Children and parents may go for a swim between activities as the venue is situated by the beach. There will also be barbecue grills and playgrounds.

The event’s organizers are the Cape Coral Yacht Club, which operates primarily as a source of recreational activities for all community members. It hosts events such as children’s camps, adult day outings, and both onshore and boating activities. To receive further information about this event, patrons may contact the Yacht Club by calling (239) 574-0806.

Admission to the event is free for everyone. The first 200 people to arrive will receive free hotdogs, as well as the opportunity to play bingo.

Flyer printing gives further information to patrons on the activities for the day at events such as this.

This event will happen on July 16 at the Cape Coral Yacht Club’s Community Park located at 5819 Driftwood Parkway, Cape Coral, Florida 33904-5963. It begins at 10:30 am, and ends at 1:30 pm.
