Cape Coral Parks and Recreation will be organizing an educational activity in February at Rotary Park.
The Butterfly Garden Design program is a course where guests can stay informed on local butterflies in the area and what plants may attract them. Attendees can bring a picture or drawing of their yard to ask a design expert about creating a butterfly-friendly landscape. Program participants will also tour the butterfly house and gardens at Rotary Park. Organizations with events similar to this can use Print shops for marketing their activities.
Cape Coral Parks and Recreation is a group founded in 1970 that aims to provide a wide range of programming for people of various ages, interests, and social needs. The organization wishes to enhance the public’s quality of life and build a sense of community through its parks and programs. The group's other events include the Sweet Souls Walking Club, dog training courses, and guided kayak tours.
The butterfly-related program will be held on Thursday, February 11 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The cost to participate will be $15 per household, and all attendees must pre-register for the activity. Guests can call the organizer to reserve their spot for the course. Those curious about other classes offered by Cape Coral Parks and Recreation can visit the group’s virtual event calendar on Facebook.
