Helping Hands for the Holidays is a day of giving for the city of Cape Coral. The 26th annual charity fundraising event will again be presented by the Aubuchon Team of Companies, which welcomes community participation and attendance at the charity event.

Guests who attend the special evening will enjoy a giant decorated Christmas tree, food, drinks, and entertainment, as well as a visit and photos with Santa. Event refreshments and activities are sponsored through contributions by local businesses, allowing for increased profits to be passed on to those in need.
Over the years, the company's holiday season event has raised over $600,000 for three local charities, including $60,000 just last year alone. The charities that benefit include:
• Southern Florida Make-A-Wish, which provides life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses
• Ronald McDonald House charities, which provide families with accommodation while away from home when their children are receiving treatment
• LEE BIA Builders Care, an organization that provides free construction and repairs of homes for senior citizens and disabled homeowners
Helping Hands for the Holidays is free and open to the public. It will be held Monday, November 25 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Aubechon Corporate Headquarters in downtown Cape Coral.
