Cape Coral to get cooking

Cape Coral will host an Autumn-themed baking workshop for children this November.

The event is titled “Autumn Fest Donut Making Class,” and will feature a variety of fall flavors. It is designed for children aged 6 to 15, and the workshop will present the essence of autumn flavors, immersing children in the warmth of the season, while teaching them to create family-favorite recipes.

Under the guidance of Chef Cameron, participants will learn to create three autumn-inspired treats, fostering a hands-on approach to baking. These will include caramel glazed treats, apple cider floats, and pumpkin spice delights. Equipment and ingredients required will be provided, and the workshop aims to provide children with valuable culinary skills.

Patch Members will receive a special Fall Fun Patch to recognize their participation in this culinary adventure. This workshop is open to those who have an interest in baking and a love for autumn flavors. It's an opportunity for them to explore the world of baking while socializing with others who share similar interests.

Early registration is recommended due to limited space. Options are available on the event´s listing through the Chefs-in-Progress website.

The workshop will take place on November 14 at Lake Kennedy. This is located at 400 Santa Barbara Boulevard, Cape Coral, Florida, and begins at 6pm.
