As the season of pumpkins arrives, an October weekend brings Punkin-palooza to Cape Coral.
An annual festival sponsored by Fleamasters Fleamarket, Punkin-palooza is now in its fifth year. Pumpkin-themed activities at the three-day event include a pick-your-own pumpkin patch and pumpkin decorating. Festival attendees can pick out and purchase a pumpkin from the patch, then decorate it at the festival. Pumpkins range in price from $5 to $15.
There will also be a ‘Pumpkin Farmers' Family Photo Spot’, where guests can pose for a picture with their decorated fruit and their loved ones.
Since the festival coincides with the flea market, vendors have the opportunity to take advantage of the crowds that attend the event. Officials from Fleamasters estimate that around 15,000 people will go to the festival. Artisans and other vendors can rent a table during the market, starting at $5 per day. The flea market organizers can use Brochures to let potential vendors know about the perks of renting a table.
A number of musical acts are set to perform throughout the pumpkin fest, several of which will play while traveling through the flea market. A few other acts will take to the Music Hall stage for their sets. Other entertainment options include performances from local dance teams, and the Royal Miss Pageant on Saturday morning.
Admission to the festival and flea market is free. It starts on October 9 and runs until October 11.Get a Free Quote for Brochures
