Cape Coral celebrates Hispanic cuisine with event

Next month, the alternative rock radio station 93X will be hosting its annual Taco Fest at the Centennial Park near Cape Coral, Florida.

The family-friendly event is sponsored by 93X and encourages people to try different tacos that are available at a reduced price. The station has been known to feature community festivals that give vendors a chance to interact with consumers around the neighborhood. There will be many different varieties of tacos that will be freshly prepared during the event.

Last year, many participating vendors were part of Taco Fest, including the 3 Pepper Burrito Company, Tijuana Flats, and Antojitos. In addition to tacos, other food was served during the event such as shaved ice from Kona Ice and flavored popcorn from Uncle Dan’s Kettle Corn. The vendors for 2019 have yet to be announced, but many are expected to return this year. Restaurants taking part in Taco Fest will be given increased exposure to the public, and are recommended to bring Business Cards for those interested in learning more about the vendor.

Taco Fest will be held on March 10 starting from 11:30 and lasting until 6:00 pm. The festival is free to attend, with food being available for an additional cost. While vendor prices may vary, each restaurant will be carrying at least one taco available for only $2. Live music will also be played during the event, and there will be a designated children’s play area where families can spend the day together.
