Artistically minded students in Cape Coral will have the opportunity to shine as of this month.
The Cape Coral Council for Arts and Humanities is once again sponsoring the Stars of Tomorrow Scholarship Program. This year will be the 23rd in which the program and performance has taken place.
The program is open to elementary school students through students in their first year at college. Categories include instrumental music, vocal music, dance, and drama. During the auditions, each student will be reviewed and evaluated by a panel of five judges.
The first round of auditions for the scholarship will take place on October 11, from 8:30am to 5:30pm, at the Cultural Park Theater. Applications are available on site. Any student who wants to audition will need to call to schedule it in advance.
The Council for Arts and Humanities can use Stationery printing to create certificates for the winning students. Awards are given within each category to a student in each of the age groups. Along with receiving a reward, the top performers will be able to perform for the public on November 21 and 22. A final performance, for the winners in each category, will be held at 3:00 pm on November 23. This will be open to the public and people can contact the theater to reserve tickets.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
