April to be a busy month for Cape Coral Library

Spring has sprung at the Cape Coral Lee County Public Library. This month, the library will offer a wide range of programs for patrons of all ages, many of which are free.

On Mondays at 2pm, from April 2 through April 30, the library will host ‘Craft Corner’ for adult knitters and other stitchers. The Friends of the Cape Coral Public Library sponsors the weekly crafting session. A self-guided session, casual and knitters are invited to bring their own projects and patterns. Some supplies will be available for people who are new to knitting and crocheting.

On Fridays at 10:00 am and Tuesdays at 6:00 pm throughout April, adult English language learners are invited to join the conversation during the English Caf. The sessions will provide learners with a chance to practice their English in a relaxed, informal setting.

The library will also host several personal finance workshops this month, including ‘Choosing the Right College Savings’ on April 25 at 1:00 pm, and ‘Money to Boost Your Credit Score’ on April 26 at 1:00 pm.

Children's programs at the library include several storytime sessions, for different ages. Family storytime will take place on Tuesdays at 10:00 am, while Preschool storytime takes places at 11:00 am. Toddler storytime will be on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 am.

Libraries planning a range of events can use local Print shops to produce Calendars that include the dates and times of each program.
