What's Happening in Brandon, FL…

Upcoming show encourages creativity

Brickworld Tampa 2014 is taking place for two days this month, hosted by the Greater Florida LEGO User Group (GFLUG) and the Orange County LEGO User Group (OLUG).

There will be plenty to see and participate at this event, which takes place over 40,000 square feet. Lots of LEGO creations will be available to enjoy. There are expected to be a range of interactive activities, such as fighting robots, and LEGO and DUPLO play areas so people can build their own creations.

In addition, vendors will be on hand to sell building kits, accessories, and anything at all that is related to the colorful building blocks.

The first 2,000 people through the doors each day will receive a free small figure accessory.

The vendors, many of whom will no doubt be coming from surrounding areas such as Brandon, will no doubt want to make sure they get as much attention as they feel they deserve. Many will probably do this by investing in services like sign and banner printing to make their booths stand out from the others.

Brickworld Tampa is being held at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa from October 25 to 26. Admission is $10 in advance or $11 at the door, $8 for military, and free for children aged three and under. Call 317-572-5346 to learn more.
