Entrepreneurs interested in starting a coffee shop can receive expert guidance to help others get their “fix” in a February seminar.
The Tampa Bay Coffee & Art Festival has announced Coffee Biz 101, a four-hour training for business leaders. The organizers will provide training on a range of topics specific to the coffee industry, offering expert guidance on such topics as roasting, conducting live demonstrations, answering questions, and providing new connections in the sector.
The mission of the Tampa Bay Coffee & Art Festival is “to inspire craft, culture, and community in the Tampa Bay Area.” The idea began in 2016 when a group of friends and coffee lovers started discussions surrounding coffee entrepreneurship in the Southeast. When the first planned gathering sold out, the organization held another six months later, and interest continued to grow. The 2025 festival gathered hundreds of visitors and dozens of vendors. Business card and poster printing help business owners establish relationships with industry leaders at this sort of event.
Coffee Biz 101 will be held on Saturday, February 21 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. It will take place at The Noise Box, located at 1310 John Moore Road in Brandon. Tickets for the event are $17.85 plus a booking fee and are available online, with a two-for-one deal available. Refreshments will be served during the event.
