Country music celebration comes to Brandon area
Country music lovers in Brandon can celebrate America’s unique musical art form when a major music festival comes to town.
Trace Adkins and Justin Moore will anchor the Bull Bash & Country Music Festival in mid-January. Lee Greenwood will appear nightly as well, and a local favorite, the Crossfire Creek Band, will perform each night also. Other attractions include the area’s top bull riders battling each evening in a competition for cash prizes, and attendees will have several food and adult beverage choices. A mechanical bull will be on hand as well. Flyer printing is often used at public festivals.
Celebrating America’s 250th birthday is the central theme of the event. The organizers will recognize the contributions of all U.S. veterans during the two-day event, and the Wounded Warrior Project will be recognized for its long-standing support of the veteran community.
The Bull Bash & Country Music Festival takes place during January 16-17 at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds, located at 215 Sydney Washer Road in Dover. Gates will open at 4:30 PM, with local bands starting their performances at 4:15 PM. Headline artists will take the stage at around 9:00 PM nightly. Ticket prices are about $65 each night, which includes access to the stage pit area. All ticket sales are final for this rain-or-shine event. Tickets may be purchased on the event website or by phone. Free parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
