Special event hopes to pair up pets with families
Furever Yours Pet Rescue and Placement Services is holding a fundraising adoption and community event this August in Oldsmar. The pet rescue organization is located in Tampa and serves most of Hillsborough County.
The event is set to feature lots of adoptable dogs and cats; each animal will be vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. As one of the services performed by the organization, the pets will also have been socialized, so should fit into any family.
Food will also be available for purchase during the afternoon and guests can enjoy a dog agility show. Vendors will be on hand selling pet-related items and handmade arts and crafts, while other rescue organizations will be providing information on their services.
Vendor tables are $35 each or free for animal rescues. Local businesses can also submit items to goodie bags for $25, which can include postcards, brochures, promotional items, samples, and business cards.
Businesses in Hillsborough County, including those in nearby Brandon, can get those types of goodie bag items from their local print company for a reasonable price.
