New entrepreneurs brush up on balloon business
Those here in Brandon wishing to learn about balloons and how to establish a business centered on them have been invited to attend the upcoming Balloons and Business Workshop presented by Crystal and Diamond Event Suite coming in early March.
The two-day event will be divided into two sections. The lecture portion will include forming a business, getting clients, marketing strategies, and essential trade tools. The other portion will include the relationship between balloon vendors, and pricing strategies.
Workshops will cover balloon artistry techniques, pricing, and hands-on training in focal points, table art, and balloon columns, and arches. Attendees will take part in practical balloon art projects, discovers marketing techniques, and boost their business acumen. Snacks will be provided on both days, and a complimentary lunch will be provided on the first day.
The $395 fee will include a Business Success Kit containing a workbook, balloon tier, hand pump, a sizer, and a couple of bags of starter balloons.
Payment plans will be available that include a $125 registration fee and two more payments of $135 each. Attendees paying full price during registration will get a $50 discount, making the fee $147.
