Holidays gleam at nights of Shimmering Lights

The 4th annual Shimmering Lights Winter, a Christmas season light show, will open in late November.

This will be as self-guided quarter-mile walking path through twinkling lights synchronized to seasonal music. Other activities will include scavenger hunts, classic outdoor movies, maze and games. Brandon guests are invited to walk the trail as many times as they wish.

Light concessions will be available for purchase from local vendors. Many families that enjoy a particular vendor’s food items occasionally ask for his/her Business Cards so they can enjoy the food again sometime in the future after the event.

Tickets are $7 and kids under three years old can walk the trail for free. Parking will be free. As this is an outdoor event and the trail is rough and unpaved, attendees are advised to wear sturdy shoes and bring bug spray.

Shimmering Lights Winter will open November 26 and run from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm at Night of Shimmering Lights, Sun-Kissed Acres 23012 N Dover Road, Dover. The event will remain open until November 28 and will reopen Thursday to Sunday, December 2 to 12. Then it will remain open nightly from December 16 to 26. On Fridays and Saturdays, hours will be 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm. All other days operating hours will be from 6:30 pm until 9:30 pm.
